James River Hospice is growing and looking for an experienced RN to step into a Hospice Director of Clinical Services role! A brief overview of Responsibilities:
This role combines leadership, oversight, and hands-on support when needed.
- Oversee all direct and indirect patient services
- Provide supervision and guidance to clinical staff to ensure quality care and standards
- Conduct chart audits and ensure regulatory compliance
- Participate in QAPI initiatives and data collection
- Evaluate staff performance (90-day and annual) and support ongoing development
- Ensure accurate and compliant patient clinical documentation
- Assist with orientation of new staff and ongoing in-services
- Provide patient visits in the home setting as needed
- Support overall clinical operations as required
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Nurse with a current license to practice nursing in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- At least one year of management experience, preferably in a hospice setting
- At least one year of supervisory experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
