What You'll Do
As a Medical Assistant, you'll play a vital role in delivering quality patient care by:
- Welcoming patients and preparing them for their appointments
- Recording medical histories and documenting the reason for each visit
- Obtaining accurate vital signs, including manual blood pressure and orthostatic blood pressure measurements
- Performing EKGs and assisting with diagnostic testing
- Applying and educating patients on cardiac monitoring devices
- Assisting with injections and other clinical procedures as directed
- Scheduling follow-up appointments and diagnostic testing
- Maintaining accurate electronic medical records (EMR)
- Supporting providers and teammates to ensure efficient patient flow
- Keeping exam rooms stocked, organized, and ready for patient care
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- 0–1 year of Medical Assistant experience encouraged to apply
- New graduates are welcome—we're happy to train motivated candidates
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Basic computer and EMR experience preferred
- A positive attitude and a genuine passion for patient care
