The James L. West Center for Dementia Care is the preeminent provider of dementia care services in North Texas. We are a single site facility, specializing in dementia care. We have 100 beds in five separate living areas, and we have been blessed to continue to have a high census!

We are committed to high staffing ratios ensuring that you are able to provide the best care possible. Our staff chose to move to 12-hour shifts to provide a better balance between work and home. Our employee teams consistently work together so you get to know your teammates as well as you know your residents. We have bi-weekly calls so that our employees hear directly from the administrative team regarding COVID-19 updates and policy changes. We also offer a wide variety of benefits for our employees to choose from.

We currently have full-time openings on our day shift which is 7:00am - 7:15pm. Night shift is 7:00pm - 7:15am. This is a 2-week rotating schedule allowing for every-other weekend off work.

We also have our own CNA school! Please forward our information if you know of someone in the Dallas-Fort Worth area who wants to become a CNA. The program is FREE! We pay an hourly wage to our students while they are in the program. Once they graduate, they move into a PRN or full-time position with our company.

We are a non-profit company, so all the money paid by our residents is spent right here in our facility. We average between 65-70% of our revenue is spent on wages and benefits for our employees.
