Elementary Registrar
JOB SUMMARY
This position supports 3 schools and principals, over 800 students and approximately 1000 applicants each year. Summary of duties - enrollment and registration of students; maintain records and monitor procedures and practices for compliance with policies related to the department; maintain accurate wait lists; maintain student data in Infinite Campus, SchoolMint and spreadsheets; provide excellent customer service.
Essential Functions
Provide excellent customer service including answering telephones/emails, providing accurate information in a professional manner to persons requesting information. Greet and assist parents who come into the office;
Data entry for student enrollment; maintenance of accurate wait lists and disseminate wait list status and information;
Ensure accurate registration and cum file record maintenance according to FERPA laws;
Set up, file and store a variety of documents including sensitive and confidential information; scrub and archive student records;
Maintain accurate student data in Infinite Campus;
Provide necessary information to data quality specialist for State/Federal reporting as needed;
Assist with Impact Aid data collection;
Create and maintain minutes spreadsheets for schools;
Coordinate and schedule a variety of activities including parent information meetings and placement testing;
Process requests from students, parents, other districts, colleges/universities, etc. for the purpose of providing required information;
Support schools during report card time verifying grades and information on report cards ensuring accuracy of the information, grade change requests as needed;
Perform enrollment and withdrawal activities in Infinite Campus and prepare and maintain permanent student record and cumulative folders for all students ensuring compliance with financial, legal, state and federal requirements;
Participate in parent information meetings and give school tours as needed;
Assist schools with student schedule changes.

High school diploma or equivalent
