What You'll Do
As a Field Service Technician, you will be the face of James Imaging Systems, delivering outstanding service and technical expertise directly to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on printers, multifunction devices, and related equipment at customer locations.
- Respond promptly to service requests and emergency repair calls.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and networking-related issues.
- Maintain parts inventory accuracy within company standards.
- Build strong customer relationships by providing professional, knowledgeable, and courteous service.
- Accurately document service activities and equipment status.
- Manage service routes and schedules efficiently to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Maintain all company-issued assets, including your vehicle, laptop, mobile phone, fuel card, and service tools.
- Represent the company with professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Formal electronics training or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and comfort working with technology.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
- Experience repairing office equipment, printers, copiers, or multifunction devices.
- Networking experience or IT-related troubleshooting skills.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing technical support role.
