Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing billing processes and ensuring accurate invoices are generated and sent to the proper parties. This role requires a strong level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit accurate invoices using QuickBooks, Monday and Fishbowl Inventory.
- Review timecard reports, notes and inventory for precise invoices.
- Assisting in Material management.
- Verify description and locations for billing detail.
- Collaborate with team members, facilities or third parties.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all ongoing projects and deadlines.
- Assist in maintaining organized filings of project information.
- Ensure proper record keeping of finances.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Billing, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems (Preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in billing processes.
- Ability to interpret technician notes from the field and translate it for billing purposes.
- Prior experience in a Fire, Life and Safety environment is advantageous but not mandatory. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the efficiency of our office operations.
Pay: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
