FUNCTION: The Senior Advisor to the CEO - Commercial Power Initiatives will support the Chief Executive Officer on a part-time basis to advance the company's strategic positioning and growth within the commercial power sector, with an emphasis on nuclear market opportunities. This role will provide senior-level insight, industry connectivity, and strategic guidance to accelerate key initiatives, enhance market access, and inform executive decision-making.
This is an advisory role without direct operational authority or reporting line responsibility.

Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Advisory
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Office environment with occasional exposure to the fabrication/machine shops. Travel to trade shows and industry events is required. JFT has implemented a 9/80 work schedule, and the office is closed every other Friday.
Qualifications & Experience
FLSA EXEMPT/NONEXEMPT STATUS: FLSA Exempt, not eligible for overtime.
A criminal history background check will be obtained pre-employment.

Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Advisory
- Advise the CEO on commercial power market trends, with a focus on nuclear energy, utilities, and related infrastructure
- Provide perspective on market entry strategies, partnerships, and competitive positioning
- Support evaluation of strategic opportunities, including investments, alliances, and major pursuits
- Leverage industry relationships to facilitate introductions and expand access to key stakeholders (utilities, EPCs, OEMs, regulators, partners)
- Support development of go-to-market strategies for nuclear and broader commercial power segments
- Assist in identifying and prioritizing target customers and programs
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team on select high-priority initiatives
- Provide input on major proposals, customer engagements, and strategic communications
- Act as a sounding board for complex commercial and strategic decisions
- Monitor regulatory, policy, and market developments impacting the commercial power sector
- Provide periodic briefings to the CEO and executive team on emerging trends and risks
- Represent the company selectively in industry forums, as appropriate
- Trusted advisor mindset with high integrity and discretion
- Strong strategic thinker with practical, results-oriented perspective
- Well-connected and respected within the commercial power industry
- Collaborative and low-ego approach, able to work effectively across leadership teams

Qualifications & Experience
- 20 years of leadership experience in the commercial power sector, with significant exposure to nuclear energy markets preferred
- Deep network across utilities, developers, regulators, and industry partners
- Demonstrated experience in market development, strategic planning, and/or large-scale project pursuits
- Strong business judgment with the ability to advise at the executive level
- Proven ability to influence without direct authority
