What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mold Maker II 2nd Shift - Corpus Christi, TX position at James Avery Jewelry?
JOB SUMMARY
As a Mold Maker II, you would make mass production molds using approved models, and various materials and techniques.
The schedule for this position is 2nd shift: Monday through Thursday 5pm-3:30am. Training will take place for a minimum of 8 weeks (or more) on 1st shift.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Makes new molds from a master pattern.
- Packs raw molds around master pattern.
- Vulcanizes molds using a heat press.
- Cuts molds and removes model with surgical knife.
- Tests molds by injecting wax.
- Collaborates with Wax Section Leader to ensure molds work well and yields quality wax patterns.
- Performs duties in Pre-Bench, Assembly and Finishing areas in order to obtain these skills.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently including, but not limited to, verbally communicating with plant personnel regarding work processes and work assignments required.
- Ability to read and understand written work processes, safety instructions, forms, training materials, etc. required.
- Previously attained Wax and Bench Skill areas.
