What You'll Do-
- Manage multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and execution activities.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
- Monitor project costs, schedules, and performance to ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare and submit estimates, budgets, progress reports, and cost tracking documentation.
- Manage contract administration, change orders, and project financials.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements, building codes, and quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting repeat business opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Superintendents and field teams to achieve project goals.
- Drive project success through proactive leadership and problem-solving.
What You Bring to the Table-
- 5 years of commercial construction project management experience.
- Proven leadership and project execution experience.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and project controls.
- Familiarity with IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity) contracts and/or Job Order Contracting (JOC).
- Strong communication, organizational, and client management skills.
- Willingness to relocate to or regularly work within the Baton Rouge, Louisiana market.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience in K-12, higher education, municipal, healthcare, or government construction.
- Experience managing renovation, repair, and occupied-facility projects.
- Experience working in JOC or task-order contracting environments.
- OSHA 30 certification.
