Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Garage Door Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and have experience in various maintenance person tasks. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing garage doors and related components, ensuring that all work meets safety standards and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Install and repair a variety of garage door systems, including automatic openers and manual doors.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on garage door mechanisms to ensure optimal functionality.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues related to garage door systems.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for installation and repair tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience in maintenance person services or a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
• Familiarity with electrical systems as they pertain to garage door operations.
• Skills in cabinet installation, metal stud framing, frame carpentry, drywall installation, and fabrication are highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
