What are the responsibilities and job description for the Competitive Hip Hop Dance Instructor position at Jam Hops?
We're looking for an energetic, passionate, and experienced Competitive Hip Hop Dance Instructor to join our team!
Position Details:
- Hours: 4–6 hours per week
- Teach and inspire competitive hip hop dancers in a positive and motivating environment.
- Choreograph engaging, high-quality routines for competitions and performances.
- Foster teamwork, confidence, and strong technical skills in dancers.
Qualifications:
- Enthusiastic, positive, and dependable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience teaching competitive hip hop dance.
- Choreography experience required.
- Previous performance experience preferred.
- Passion for mentoring dancers and helping them grow both technically and artistically.
Pay for this position will be based on experience level. The Dance Teaching rate would start anywhere between $20-$50 per hour and the Prep rate would be $16-$18.
