General Job Duties:
- Greet all customers in a friendly manner.
- Assist customers with deli purchases.
- Thank customers for their patronage.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Sweep and pick up debris within store.
- Stock deli items as needed.
- Rotate merchandise by newer merchandise behind older merchandise.
- Place products in refrigerator units as needed.
- Maintain Sweep Sheet every half hour.
- Inspect products when placing items on shelves.
- Maintain a clean refrigerator section.
- Place expired products at Expired Item rack (confirm with management on the expired products.
- Assist and participate with Company marketing promotional events and programs as needed and all other assigned job duties.
Essential Job Duties:
- Lift boxes and product ranging between 20 lbs up to 60 lbs
- Place boxes/product onto dolly or cart
- Push/pull between 30 lbs up to 200 lbs (items on cart/dolly)
- Bend/Stoop pick up and or place product below waist level (including shelves and racks)
- Place product onto shelves and position for sale
- Grasp/Grip product to prepare for sales floor
- Constant sweeping/pushing broom to pick up debris to keep work area clean
- Place and remove product from Deli cooler (including shelving and bins)
- Reaching above shoulder level (product placement on sales floor plus shelving/rack system in deli warehouse areas)
- Place debris/trash/recycle cardboard in respective areas
- Will clean and maintain shelves and bins
- Climb ladders to retrieve product on top shelf/deli cooler
Physical Requirements:
