Overview

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for end-to-end accounts payable processing for domestic and international vendors. This role supports inventory and SG&A payables while ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with leadership to obtain necessary vendor invoice approvals.
• Daily processing of accounts payable invoices and payment requests, including tax payments.
• Manage weekly payment runs, including ACH payments, international wires, checks, and online payments.
• Maintain vendor records, including payment and banking information, while adhering to internal controls.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve invoice, payment, and statement discrepancies.
• Perform vendor statement reconciliations and maintain vendor aging.
• Support month-end close activities related to accounts payable, including accruals and account reconciliations.
• Assist with annual 1099 reporting and audit requests.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and support accounts payable initiatives.

• Prior accounts payable, accounting, bookkeeping, or related administrative experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Collaborative team player with a customer-service mindset.
