Seasonal Machine Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery to produce high-quality products efficiently. Your expertise in mechanical systems, precision measurement, and manufacturing processes will ensure smooth production flow and adherence to safety standards. Duties

• Set up, operate, and monitor freshpack machines including programming tools.
• Read and interpret technical blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and engineering drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Utilize programming skills such as Fanuc controls, CNC programming, CAD (Computer-Aided Design), SolidWorks, and CNC programming software to optimize machine performance.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments on machinery to maintain optimal operation.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calibraters, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions and ensure product specifications are met.
• Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment within the manufacturing facility.
• Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to maintain high standards of compliance with specifications.
• Support fabrication activities including, assembly line tasks, tooling setup, and packaging of finished goods.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge.
• Familiarity with controls panels programming is highly desirable.
• Experience with precision instruments.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and perform basic maintenance on machinery.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including, machining, tooling setup, materials handling, and assembly techniques.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during setup and inspection processes.
• Warehouse experience or familiarity with factory safety protocols is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent problem-solving skills to ensure consistent product quality.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Pay: $18.00 per hour
