Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain organized financial records.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Prepare bank deposits and reconcile bank statements.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist with preparing journal entries and general ledger maintenance.
- Help in preparing financial reports and documentation.
- File and organize invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding financial issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
- Perform other administrative and accounting duties as needed.
- Knowledgeable in various state sales and use tax.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Dynamics, QuickBooks).
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong numerical and analytical ability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
