As a Shop Foreman, you will oversee service lane flow, support the development of our technicians, and collaborate across departments to deliver seamless service experiences. What You'll Be Doing
Managing Service Lane Flow:
- Ensure walk-in and tow-in customers are promptly written up and logged on the walk-in list.
- Coordinate hikes, Quality Control (QC) processes, parking congestion, and loaner fleet operations.
- Dispatch work fairly to technicians based on shop needs and client demand.
- Monitor shop flow to maximize efficiency, reduce guarantee hours, and maintain high service standards.
- Conduct active receptions with service advisors and customers to assess service needs.
- Perform daily quality control inspections to ensure workmanship meets dealership standards.
- Collaborate with the Parts Department to streamline deliveries and maintain parts availability.
- Host weekly meetings with the General Manager, Service Manager, and technical team to discuss performance and process improvements.
- Support technician training and development to ensure compliance with manufacturer and dealership standards.
- Focus on maintaining Service 6 scores of at or above department expectations.

What we’re looking for
Experience And Education
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry and 2 years in customer service.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced education in automotive repair or management preferred.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in software and tools such as Bsite, CDK, Topicx, myKaarma, Rapid Recon, and Multipoint systems.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
