Jagwear is a premier in-house apparel manufacturer specializing in high-quality screen printing and embroidery. We pride ourselves on reliability, fast turnaround, and delivering top-tier brand-name apparel to our clients. We are looking for a dedicated Pre-Press Technician to join our production team. This is a "ground-up" opportunity where you will assist our experienced pressmen in all aspects of the screen-printing process. Your ultimate goal will be to master the craft and transition into a full-time Silkscreen Pressman.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screen Preparation: Clean, prep, coat, and expose silk screens for upcoming print jobs.
- Production Support: Assist pressmen with machine set-up, registration, and monitoring ink viscosity.
- Quality Control: Perform "preflight" checks on graphics and text to ensure accuracy before production begins.
- Maintenance: Clean and maintain shop machinery.
- Finishing: Help with garment counting, bagging, and final quality checks as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and a "keen eye" for color and alignment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- A positive attitude and a strong desire to learn the screen printing trade from the pros.
- Will train the right person.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
