Duties
- Deliver a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs
- Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their health history, pain points, and treatment objectives
- Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to support ongoing wellness
- Maintain detailed treatment records, including client progress and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort, answer questions, and build lasting relationships based on trust and professionalism
- Follow all safety protocols by maintaining CPR certification and adhering to medical terminology standards during treatments
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to optimize client outcomes
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in massage therapy proof of insurance
- Proven experience in providing various massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage techniques
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and pain management principles to tailor treatments effectively
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and communicate clearly
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage practices
- Prior experience working in med spas or occupational health environments is preferred but not essential
- Ability to maintain professionalism while managing multiple clients in a fast-paced setting
