What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Quality Assurance Officer / Senior QA Lead position at Jacobs Management Group?
We are currently working with an organization whose laboratory business supports chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and energetics (CBRNE) work. They need a Sr. Quality Assurance Officer to lead QA across that business, from training and audit management to study assignments. You would guide QA staff and decide whether the work and products meet government regulations, client specifications, and internal policy, with the goal of flawless project execution and delivery.

What You'll Be Doing
- Set corrective actions, lead root cause analysis, and verify fixes work
- Develop and run QA plans in an analytical lab
- Conduct internal audits, equipment and system validation audits, and facility inspections
- Support client and regulator inspections and audits
- Review subcontracted services on site to confirm experimental procedures are followed
- Report audit and inspection findings to management and make sure corrective actions happen
About You
- Be able to do the job as described.
- ISO 17025 experience
- Able to obtain a top secret clearance
- Certified auditor (ASQ CQA, ISO 9001:2015) preferred
- Committee experience, internal or external, bringing a quality perspective to continual improvement
