Litigation Paralegal – Personal Injury

Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Litigation Paralegal with at least five years of hands-on experience in personal injury litigation, including trial preparation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, highly organized, and thrives in a team-based setting.
You will work closely with our attorneys and legal assistants to manage all phases of litigation — from pre-suit through trial. This is a dynamic role where your expertise and professionalism will make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, edit, and e-file pleadings in State and Federal courts (WA)
- Prepare and respond to written discovery (Interrogatories, Requests for Production, RFAs)
- Organize, analyze, and summarize medical records and other case evidence
- Manage scheduling for depositions, mediations, IMEs, arbitrations, and trial deadlines
- Prepare case chronologies, witness lists, exhibit lists, trial notebooks, and pretrial disclosures
- Track and manage case calendars, statute deadlines, and litigation timelines
- Coordinate with experts and vendors; manage subpoena processes
- Support attorneys with trial preparation, including courtroom logistics when needed
- Utilize Filevine (legal practice management software) for case management, task tracking, and communications
- Maintain accurate billing/timekeeping logs (if applicable)
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 5 years litigation experience in Personal Injury law
- In-depth understanding of Washington State and Federal Court Rules
- Experience preparing for mandatory arbitration and jury trials
- Skilled in calendaring, file management, and complex scheduling
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat; strong Excel skills preferred
- Experience with Filevine is a plus (we recently transitioned to it)
- Strong writing, communication, and proofreading skills
- A team player with excellent interpersonal skills who takes pride in their work
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines independently
