What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospitality Team Line Cook position at Jacob Rieger & Company LLC?
J. Rieger & Co, located on 2700 Guinotte Street in Kansas City, MO, is looking for line cooks to join our culinary team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, engaged and passionate about food and hospitality.
J. Rieger & Co. is one of Kansas City’s most storied distilleries that was brought back to life in 2014. Located in the historic Electric Park district of Kansas City, just 3 minutes east of the River Market, our new distillery offers daily tours, tastings, two distinct bar spaces serving cocktails, food, beer and wine, as well as space for private events.
Responsibilities:
● Execute day to day culinary operations
● Uphold kitchen sanitation standards pertaining to food safety
● Assist in the development and protocol around established menu items
● Use standardized recipes and plate presentations
● Work alongside cooks every day, leading by example
● Contribute to important elements of daily operations
Qualifications:
● Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking or other related field
● Passion for food and cooking techniques
● Interest in teamwork and personal growth
● Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.
