What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospitality Team Dishwasher position at Jacob Rieger & Company LLC?
J. Rieger & Co. is one of Kansas City’s most storied distilleries that was brought back to life in 2014. Located in the historic Electric Park district of Kansas City, just 3 minutes east of the River Market, our new distillery offers daily tours, tastings, four distinct bar spaces serving cocktails, food, beer and wine, as well as space for private events.
J. Rieger & Co, located on 2700 Guinotte Street in Kansas City, MO, is looking for a dishwasher to join our culinary team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, engaged and passionate about food and hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain sanitary condition of kitchen in accordance with with J. Rieger & Co. standards.
- Washes used flatware and silverware
- Replenishes kitchen spaces with clean flatware and silverware
- Helps stock delivered food and non-food items.
- Assist in light prep
- Ensure that kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations.
- Demonstrate high degree of drive and initiative.
- Ensure a safe working environment for all associates.
- Other tasks/duties as assigned by the chain of command
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking or other related field
- Passion for food and cooking techniques
- Interest in teamwork and personal growth
- Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.
