Position Summary:
University Student Assistants supporting the grand opening of the Randy Owen Center for the Performing Arts will play a key role in delivering a smooth, welcoming, and well-organized event experience for all guests. Responsibilities include preparing event spaces, assisting with crowd management, scanning tickets, supporting concessions, and providing exceptional guest service. Team members will also assist with setup and cleanup, move signage and stanchions, stock materials, and perform light custodial duties. Working closely with event management, staff will serve as a primary point of contact for guest assistance while ensuring all performances operate efficiently from start to finish. Attendance at training and participation in scheduling meetings are required.

- Applicants must be enrolled as a JSU student taking at least three (3) hours per fall or spring semester. (Requirements for international students below. *)
- If not a first-time student, the applicant must have a GPA of 2.00 or higher.
- Selected applicants must provide evidence of student enrollment and GPA (unofficial transcript or printout of enrollment/GPA from MyJaxState.
- All international students must be in a valid immigration status.
