What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer position at Jackson Therapy Partners?
Join the team as an Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images that support physician evaluation and patient care.
Minimum Requirements:
- General ultrasound experience required. Experience with abdominal, OB, and small parts exams. Vascular ultrasound experience strongly preferred.
- Ultrasound registry (ARDMS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International) preferred but not required.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer preferred.
- Ability to take on-call shifts as required by the facility (some call will be required; approximately 1-2 nights per week).
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift name: Days.
- Shift schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 am–5:30 pm.
- Shift pattern: 4x10.
- Some on-call or night call responsibilities required (approximately 1–2 nights per week).
