Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active Ohio SLP state license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
- Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment, including bedside swallow evaluations and instrumental assessments (e.g., FEES or VFSS) preferred.
- Experience with documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
