Minimum Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Active Tennessee SLP license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Prior acute care or hospital-based SLP experience preferred.
• Experience with adult dysphagia assessment and treatment required.
• Experience with instrumental assessments such as modified barium swallow (MBSS/VFSS) and/or FEES preferred.
• All clinical staff assigned in Tennessee must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry with results provided prior to start.
• Candidates must have required certifications prior to start. Client reserves the right to require additional certifications; refer to client checklist for up-to-date requirements. (Preferred items may include advanced dysphagia certifications or specialty training.)

• Shift Details: Days 0800-1630.
• Orientation: Bi-weekly, on Mondays. Travel candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered travel.
