What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Credentials evaluated by one of the following when applicable: FCCPT, ICD, ICA, IERF, or IEC.
- Current Illinois state license in good standing with the State License Board.
- Experience providing physical therapy services in school settings preferred. Experience with IEP development and school-based documentation required.
- Client requirement: experience working with elementary (ES), middle (MS), and high school (HS) populations across self-contained and general education environments.
- Current CPR certification preferred.
What You'll Do:
- Provide physical therapy services within a school-based setting across ES, MS, and HS programs.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments, contribute to or develop IEPs, and deliver goal-aligned therapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers, school teams, parents, and related service providers to support student outcomes.
- Maintain compliant documentation according to district, state, and federal guidelines.
- Support transition planning and progress reporting as required by the district.
