Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Indiana Physical Therapy license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
- Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience is required. This position is primarily outpatient with approximately 5-10% inpatient care.
- Experience with outpatient orthopedic caseloads preferred. Approximately 70% of outpatient diagnoses are orthopedic.
- Experience with equipment such as Hivamat, therapeutic ultrasound, electrical stimulation, BITS, and laser is preferred.
- Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred.
- Manual therapy skills preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Hospital - Physical Therapy department (primarily outpatient).
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Details: Days 08:30-17:00, Monday through Friday.
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36.
- Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:1 in unit setting.
- Required Certifications: BLS and current state licensure.
- Float Requirements: None.
- Dress Code: Charcoal grey scrubs. Denim is not acceptable attire.
- First Day Instructions: Park on the south side of the outpatient building at 1810 Lafayette Rd. Enter through the front doors. Complete any assigned HR education modules prior to the first day.
