What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract position at Jackson Therapy Partners?
Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners. We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a brand-new location.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active New York State Occupational Therapy License required to start the assignment.
- BLS Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress in accordance with facility and state regulations.
- Experience with ADL training, adaptive equipment recommendations, and safe patient handling preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
- Willingness to comply with facility-specific orientation and required training prior to or upon start.
