What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract position at Jackson Therapy Partners?
Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active California State Occupational Therapy License is required to start the assignment.
- BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient settings preferred.
- Experience evaluating and treating upper extremity conditions, including hand, wrist, and elbow cases, required.
- Experience managing neuro rehabilitation cases and mixed caseloads preferred.
- Ability to manage a full caseload as the single OT in clinic, typically 12–14 patient visits per day; ability to utilize an aide when available preferred.

- Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
- Caseload: Primarily upper extremity cases with possible combination of neuro cases and specific hand/wrist/elbow cases.
- Clinic Staffing: Single OT in clinic; use of an aide may affect daily visit volume.
