Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location in Skowhegan, ME. This role is based in a skilled nursing facility and supports interdisciplinary care focused on functional independence.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Maine Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
- Documentation experience with SOAP notes and electronic medical records preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
- Experience treating geriatric populations and managing ADL/IADL programs preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
- Shift Days: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat (VMS work days indicate potential for any day coverage).
- Meal break: 30 minutes.
- Guaranteed hours: 35 per week as indicated by client.
- May be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
