What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract position at Jackson Therapy Partners?
Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
- Prior experience providing restorative care, ADL training, and cognitive or upper-extremity rehabilitation preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with documentation in electronic medical records preferred.
- Familiarity with Medicare and long-term care reimbursement and documentation preferred.
- Prior travel therapy experience preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 08:30-16:30.
- Work pattern: Five 8-hour shifts per week.
- Guaranteed hours: 35 hours per week.
