Description
The Department of Community Engagement is accepting applications for its Project Coordinator position.
Examples of Duties
Ensure that all aspects of a project arc organized and in conformance with timeline and deliverables requirement.
Develop and maintain project performance database that tracks overall progress and achievement of milestones.
Assign and monitor resources effectively to boost project efficiency and maximize deliverables output.
Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels, and escalate issues according to project work plan.
Serve as point of communication between summer camps and resources.
Deepen partnerships with outside resources, including third-party vendors and researchers.
Grant Writing.
Other duties as assigned.
Typical Qualifications
Bachelor' s Degree in a social service, education, management or related degree.
Master's degree in higher education, student affairs, college student development, counseling, or a related field or at least 2 years of relevant experience in community service, volunteer management, leadership development, or non-profit management is preferred.
The following knowledge and skills are required: organization, one-on-one advising, group facilitation, problem-solving, decision-making, training facilitation, and public speaking.
This position requires the ability to balance multiple tasks; work effectively with students; manage programs and events; and collaborate with community members and university members.
