Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and provide comprehensive explanations of orthodontic treatment options and procedures
- Schedule appointments efficiently, managing patient flow and minimizing wait times
- Assist patients with understanding treatment plans, financial arrangements, and insurance processes
- Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment progress notes and billing information
- Coordinate communication between patients, orthodontists, and dental staff to ensure smooth treatment delivery
- Follow up with patients regarding appointments, payments, and any treatment questions or concerns
- Support administrative tasks such as verifying insurance coverage and processing payments
Skills
- Prior experience in a dental/orthodontic office setting is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to orthodontics.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills to educate and motivate patients confidently
