Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team at Jackson, Murdo & Grant, P.C. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Helena, MT. The Paralegal will assist attorneys with legal research, document review, preparation of legal documents, maintaining case files, and client communication. Successful candidates will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe. This role involves facilitating efficient case management, organizing documents, accurately calendaring deadlines and appointments, legal research, case management, document drafting, and ensuring compliance with regulations and deadlines. This position requires excellent organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and customer service. We offer health, vision, and dental insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) plan, cafeteria plan, and generous PTO. Hours are M-F, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in legal document preparation and document review
- Strong understanding and application of general principles of law
- Excellent communication and research skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and effective organizational skills
- Proficiency with legal software and case management systems is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment and manage multiple priorities
- Experience in a law firm or legal environment
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field, or equivalent certification and experience preferred
