What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Pharmacy Technician position at Jackson Hospital and Clinic?
The Pharmacy Technician works with the Pharmacist-In-Charge in the preparation and distribution of medications. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactory. Qualifications:
Education/Experience - High school diploma or equivalent. 1 year Pharmacy Technician experience preferred, but not required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - Registered as a Pharmacy Technician and in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy. Certified Pharmacy Technician as required by state law.
Language Ability – Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Able to speak effectively to customers or other members of the organization.
Mathematical Ability - Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
