What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech position at Jackson HealthPros?
Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you’ll be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.
Minimum Requirements
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
- Current CNMT certification required.
- Active state license to practice nuclear medicine at time of submission. Compact license not acceptable.
- BLS certification.
- At least 6 months of nuclear medicine technologist experience required. Prefer 2 years' experience in a hospital setting.
- Experience performing routine nuclear medicine imaging procedures and operating gamma cameras and SPECT equipment.
- Willingness to participate in call rotation as required by the facility.
- All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission. All compliance documentation must be submitted one week prior to start.
- Facility will consider local candidates at a reduced rate (preferred).
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Hospital.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Days: Monday through Thursday and Friday.
- Shift Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–16:30; Friday 08:00–14:00.
- Weekend Requirement: Call rotation.
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks.
