We’re seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a locum tenens nocturnist opportunity supporting an inpatient Hematology/Oncology/BMT service.

We’re seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a locum tenens nocturnist opportunity supporting an inpatient Hematology/Oncology/BMT service.
Schedule
- -Monday–Friday, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- -Saturday–Sunday and select holidays, 4:00 PM–7:00 AM
- -Rotating nocturnist schedule
Details
- -Provide overnight care for Hematology/Oncology/BMT patients
- -Complete initial assessments, comprehensive histories and physicals, and admissions
- -Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing
- -Develop and monitor treatment plans
- -Respond to nursing and caregiver concerns and changes in patient condition
- -Enter and communicate admission, transfer, and treatment orders
- -Perform appropriately credentialed procedures
- -Collaborate with fellows, attending physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team
- -Complete progress notes, procedure notes, and other required documentation in Epic
- -Receive sign-out at the beginning of each shift and provide thorough sign-out to the daytime team
Preferred Experience
- -NP or PA with inpatient/acute care experience
- -Hematology, Oncology, BMT, or chemotherapy experience strongly preferred
- -ACLS and BLS
- -Appropriate NP/PA licensure and certification
- -WI licensure is preferred
