This roleownsthe vision, structure, and execution of the Sales Development organization, ensuring alignment with enterprise growthobjectivesand strong partnership with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Executive Leadership. Set and lead theenterprise sales development strategy, translating companyobjectivesinto scalable, measurable initiatives that drive sustainable pipeline growth
Participateinenterprise strategic planningwith Senior Executive Leadership, includingfacilitatingQuarterly Business Reviews and contributing tothree yearplanning initiatives
Build, mentor, and inspirehigh performingSales Development leaders and teams, providing leadership training and clear career development paths
Lead divisionalLearning & Development planning, promoting continuous education and expanding new learning offerings informed by performance data and sales feedback
Conductannual gap analyseswith Sales to evaluate performance and develop targeted training content
Design andoptimizeinbound and outbound sales development models, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and a strong prospect experience
Leveragedata, forecasting, and reportingto evaluate performance, manage capacity, track trainee progress, and guide strategicdecision making
Create,facilitate, and report ondivisional OKRs and KPIs, ensuring metrics align with enterprise success measures
Identifyand implementtools, technologies, and methodologiesthat improve productivity, consistency, and operational effectiveness
Identifyoperational challenges and developcreative, scalable solutionsto support performance and growth
Develop and manage thedivision's annual budget, acting based on forecasting and performance trends
Conduct regularcoaching oversight, including shadows, "shadows of shadows," and quarterlycheck inswith Sales Development leaders and associates
Maintain month over monthSales Development reporting, including trainee tracking, capacity planning, turnover analysis, and progress monitoring
Compile and shareannual Sales Development resultswith Sales Leadership
Support new revenue opportunities throughpartnerships,third partyrelationships, and business alliances
Identifyand recommendcauses and initiativesaligned with company values and goals
What You Bring
Six years of professional experience leading or mentoring others in a formal sales environment
Two years of experience in the staffing industry or aninside sales relatedfield
Proven experience leadingsales development orrevenue generatingteams at scale, ideally within a complex orhigh growthorganization
Demonstrated ability tobuild, coach, and lead leaders, not just individual contributors
Deepexpertiseinsales development methodologies, metrics, and enabling technologies
A strategic mindset paired with the ability to execute-comfortable setting vision whileremainingclose tothe work
Exceptional communication and influence skills, including the ability to engage and present to executive stakeholders
Adata drivenapproachcomplemented by strong business judgment and intuition
