Job Overview
Seeking driven & creative individuals to join the Jack's Extra Fancy culinary team. Must have previous experience in working a "from scratch" based kitchen. Ideal candidates will mesh well in our fast paced kitchen environment that slings playful inventive dishes, while offering excellence in hospitality to our local community.
Duties
-Follow recipe guides & prepare food ingredients for menu items
-Cook and execute food tickets in a timely function, while maintaining the consistency of the Jack's kitchen standard
-Help stock and organize food stations
-Exercise FIFO and all food safety standards
Skills
-Previous experience in food handling & preparation
-Experience in cooking on the line & expediting ticket times
-Knowledge of food ingredients at their basic core
-Knowledge of preparing food from scratch to finished product
-Readiness to learn and exercise creative thinking when it comes to food
-Proficient in time management & attention to detail
-Positive attitude with the ability to work well with others is a must!
