ABOUT THE ROLE:Reporting to our Sr. Regional Operations Manager, Jackpot's Operations Manager will run Jackpot's New York City location with operational excellence. This role will be an on-site position based in the New York City area and will be responsible for leading and providing daily oversight over our operations team at this location. This is the perfect opportunity if you are an excellent communicator and a versatile operator who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment!WHAT YOU'LL DO:OperationsLead and manage the day-to-day operation for the New York market including lottery processing, facility management, and people operationsManage the relationship with the New York Lottery and ensure compliance with all regulationsAnalyze operational activities and costs against forecast data to achieve location OKRsCollaborate frequently with field operations team to review achievements/challenges and process changes to optimize operationsProactively analyze, improve, and set best practices while collaborating with cross functional partners to improve and enhance operationsManage and adhere to the market budget and report daily/weekly KPIs key Jackpot leadersPeopleDevelop efficient workforce management practices including scheduling of staff, approving timesheets, and tracking payroll spendHire and train operations team to quality standards as neededProvide leadership for employees through effective communication, coaching, training and developmentPartner with the People team to resolve all people and safety issues in a timely and effective mannerGrow and develop the leadership teamFacilities/Equipment Manage all aspects of the location's facilities and maintain vendor relationships/contractsBe accountable for all equipment functioning optimally to fulfill operations and resolve facility issues to ensure minimal operational cost and delaysSupport the strategic evaluation and implementation of cost savings opportunitiesYOU IDEALLY HAVE:Mid-level experience in operations, retail or warehouse management Significant experience managing others, including independent contractors or non-exempt employees The ability to troubleshoot basic technical and equipment issuesThe willingness to work a flexible schedule to ensure 100% operational uptimeThe ability to lift up to 40 pounds as neededABOUT YOU:You think critically about the problems you solve by looking at facts and data and applying it to the solutions you implementYou don't miss deadlines.
