Dacotah Dining Supervisor

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Directly supervise and coordinate activities of Dacotah Dining staff to ensure the delivery of quality products and service.
• Supervise daily department operations.
• Assume managerial duties and responsibilities in department managers absence.
• Work opposite shift of Dacotah Dining Manager as needed.
• Schedule and assign stations to department staff.
• Hire, train, review and discipline department staff as required.
• Maintain and enforce department policies and procedures.
• Promptly address all guest and team member concerns in a respectful and professional manner.
• Maintain current knowledge of service procedures, menus, Micros operations and seating chart.
• Maintain accurate payroll, personnel, cash handling and sales records.
• Assist with inventory control as needed.
• Alert department manager of any inventory shortages.
• Evaluate and adjust staff levels according to business needs.
• Promote a high level of morale, productivity and efficiency.
• Perform various lobby and dining area functions as needed.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior food and beverage experience required.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

• Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Mobility throughout the facility.
• Ability to stand and walk extensively.
• Ability to bend and stoop.
• Ability to move dining room furniture.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
