What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver, Sweeper Operator Overnight Shift position at Jacketta Sweeping Service?
Jacketta Sweeping Service is a local parking lot and street sweeping company. We are hiring drivers for our graveyard shift parking lot sweepers. Schedule is 4 nights per week. Tuesday - Friday night. Shifts start at 10 pm, finish around 8 am. No CDL needed. Weekend work is required.
Pay starts at $21 per hour. Safely drive sweeper truck to multiple job locations a night. Must know your way around Salt Lake and surrounding areas.
- Use a backpack blower to clean out corners, docks, and any other areas the sweeper cannot reach. You will be in and out of the truck several times a night walking at a fast pace with the backpack blower. This is a physical job, not just driving around. You will be in and out of the truck cleaning areas not accessible by the truck.
- Clean and maintain truck as instructed.
- Operate sweeper truck to clean up parking lots.
- Must have clean driving record (no more than 1 ticket in last 3 years) and be older than 21 per insurance company standards.
- You will need to get a DOT Medical card within 30 days after being hired
- Must be able to work alone with no or little supervision.
