Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Worker to join our team in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of production equipment, surfaces, and facilities to meet health and safety regulations.
- Execute routine janitorial tasks including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting areas within the facility.
- Adhere to established sanitation protocols to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Assist in the removal of waste and recycling materials from the premises.
- Conduct regular inspections of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any deficiencies or needs for replenishment.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Engage in heavy lifting as required to move equipment or materials during cleaning processes.
Experience
- Previous experience in cleaning, sanitation, or custodial roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices, especially within food production or manufacturing environments, is a plus.
- Experience in warehouse settings is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.
