to take ownership of our financial function and help drive the business
forward.
This is not a corporate, sit-back executive position. We’re
looking for someone who wants to get in the trenches, work alongside the team,
and use financial insight to create a real competitive advantage.
You’ll report directly to the President and play a key role
in how the company operates, performs, and grows.
What You’ll Do
- Own
the day-to-day financial operations and reporting
- Turn
numbers into clear, actionable insights for leadership
- Partner
with operations to improve job costing, margins, and performance
- Drive
accountability across the business through simple, effective scorecards
- Work
closely with purchasing and procurement to control costs and improve
efficiency
- Lead
and develop the finance team while setting the standard for accountability
- Take
ownership of cash flow, cost control, and overall financial performance
What We’re Looking For
- Experience
in a privately held, mid-sized company
- Background
as a Controller, Director of Finance, or similar leadership role
- Strong
understanding of construction or operational finance (job costing is key)
- Experience
working closely with operations and purchasing teams
- Proven
ability to lead a team and hold people accountable
- Someone
who communicates clearly and isn’t afraid to speak up

Compensation
- $170,000 to $185,000 base salary
