Jack Laurie Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Framing Foreman to join our growing Interiors Division in Fort Wayne. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with a strong steel stud framing background, the ability to lead a small crew, and experience running commercial jobs efficiently and safely.
Lead and manage a crew of 2–5 commercial framers
Perform and oversee steel stud framing on commercial projects
Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and job plans
Coordinate daily tasks, materials, and workflow on site
Maintain safety, productivity, and quality standards
Communicate clearly with Superintendents and Project Managers
Travel to regional job sites as needed (up to approximately 2 hours on select projects)
Proven steel stud framing experience (required)
Ability to run and motivate a small crew
Strong knowledge of commercial construction standards
Willingness to travel for certain projects
Reliable transportation and strong attendance
Leadership mindset with a hands-on approach
5–15 years of commercial framing experience
Previous experience as a Foreman or Lead Carpenter
Background in healthcare, education, office, or large-scale commercial projects
- $25–$32 per hour, based on experience
