Pay: Starting at $18.00/hour
Jack Laurie Group is looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Apprentice Sports Flooring Installers. This is an entry-level position that offers hands-on training and the opportunity to build a long-term career in the flooring industry.
As an Apprentice Sports Flooring Installer, you'll work alongside experienced professionals installing and maintaining athletic surfaces, including hardwood gymnasium floors and rubber sports flooring in schools, recreation centers, fitness facilities, and other commercial environments throughout Indiana.
No previous flooring experience is required—we're looking for dependable individuals who are eager to learn, work hard, and develop valuable trade skills.
- Assist with the installation of hardwood sports flooring systems
- Assist with the installation of rubber athletic and fitness flooring
- Help prepare job sites and materials for installation
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards
- Travel to job sites throughout Indiana
- At least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the workday
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Construction, flooring, carpentry, or general labor experience is a plus, but not required
- Starting pay of $18.00/hour
