West Tennessee | $38.25 - $43.25 hourly depending on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday | Day Shift
Jack Hornsby Electric is looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator who enjoys building relationships just as much as building competitive bids.
In this role, you'll work directly with customers, vendors, and general contractors to understand project needs, develop practical solutions, and prepare competitive bids for commercial and industrial electrical projects.
You'll play a key role in the continued growth of our company while building long-term relationships with clients and suppliers who trust your expertise.

What you'll be doing:
- Prepare complete electrical estimates for commercial and industrial projects
- Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs and develop competitive proposals
- Meet with customers to understand project goals and develop solutions
- Build strong relationships with vendors and negotiate competitive pricing
- Follow up on submitted bids and help convert opportunities into awarded projects
- Support project turnover and collaborate with Project Managers
- Stay current on labor trends, material pricing, and market conditions
What we're looking for:
- 7 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience
- 3 years of electrical estimating experience
- Strong blueprint reading and takeoff experience
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with estimating software preferred
