On-Site Only: Yes. Not remote work eligible
Job Location: N. Phoenix, AZ
Hours: 6/10 schedule, 5:00 AM – 3:15 PM. Must be willing to work Saturdays and nights.

General Summary:
The Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Representative is responsible for the implementation and administration of the corporate safety program at the job-site/area, trend analysis and all reporting activities. Ensure the behavior of the crew is in accordance with company safety culture. Understands the lagging and leading safety indicators and promotes a philosophy that achieves established goals. Identification of job site/area specific safety requirements, safety equipment, material procurement, training requirements and tracking of training.
Education and Experience:
Three (3) years field safety experience in a construction environment.
For semiconductor projects, previous safety experience or commensurate experience in General Industry CFR 1910 settings/environments, including clean room, strongly preferred.
Previous mechanical experience preferred
Current OSHA 510 Certification strongly preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to work a 6/10 schedule
Ability to climb ladders and walk multiple miles daily
Ability to recognize and correct safety-related hazards and targeted safety trends
Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
Ability to interpret and apply OSHA standards
Proficient in MS Windows/Office programs
Working knowledge of construction practices
Ability to work as a team member
Physical Requirements/Travel:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is frequently exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
The employee frequently walks many miles on customer’s large campus setting. Occasional to frequent ladder use. Employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
