Job Description Summary
This position is responsible for the daily management, supervision, coordination and successful completion of assigned field project(s).
Essential Functions

1. Coordinate & communicate with Field Operations Manager and Estimator on project status, problems or deviations from schedule or contract.
2. Possess working knowledge of all project plans and specifications.
3. Order/requisition materials and supplies.
4. Coordinate work activities with other project activities and subcontractors.
5. Supervise employees, discipline as necessary, and evaluate performance.
6. Generate accurate Daily Worksheets, time cards, and daily inspection logs for equipment.
7. Represent JAF at project coordination meetings.
8. Coordinate changes to manpower, customer requests, and employee/site issues with Field Operations Manager/Project Manager.
9. Responsible for cleanliness and safety on all job sites.
10. Responsible for adhering to all JAF company policies and procedures as well as the customer’s.
11. Schedule all tool and equipment needs with Equipment Manager and Toolroom Supervisor.
12. Responsible for maintenance to all work vehicles & equipment in crew.
13. Provide assistance to employees engaged in construction activities using tools or equipment.
14. Train employees in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures, and company policies.

Work Environment
This job can require inside or outside work and in various weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold). Work may include heights, hazards of operating equipment, power tools, and the presence of chemicals, dust and fumes. Noise level can be loud- in excess of 100 decibels. Personal Protection Equipment is required: Safety shoes, safety glasses, hard hats, ear plugs, and gloves.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This role requires mobility to maneuver around job site, standing, walking, bending, climbing, and reaching above the head. Mental demands include mathematical ability to count and inventory, read blueprints, interpret job specifications plus quality control decisions. It also requires good vision and hearing. May be required to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
Travel
Travel out-of-town and out-of-state is required.
Required Education and Experience
· High School Graduate (GED)
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Mechanical Foreman
· Valid Driver’s License
Other Criteria
Must have a valid driver’s license, pass drug screen and background checks.
Demonstrate ability to tactfully handle difficult situations.
Consistently demonstrate ability to recognize and deal with priorities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $45.00 per hour
